Drop Off Service

Our drop-off counter is located inside the double glass doors at the main front parking lot for the Cranberry Laundry. Drop-off hours are Monday thru Friday 8am to 3pm or "after hours" using our Drop-Off Shed around the back of the laundromat. Please contact us ahead of time when using the shed for either a drop off or a pickup.

Please make sure all blankets are BAGGED prior to coming into the drop off area. If you do not have bags with you, please ask the counter staff for assistance

From March thru September...please call or message to schedule a drop-off day if you have more than 10 blankets or sheets so that we can make sure we have adequate space to hold your order until processing. This period of time is extremely busy.

As with our farm pick-up and delivery service, we recommend that our drop-off clients leave an itemized list with their order. It is EXTREMELY helpful to include a "Master List" with each order that can be checked off as items are being washed. It is not uncommon for clients to think that they sent a certain item in for washing only to discover that it was still at the barn or in a tack trunk. The List gives a good reference point to prevent any concern of a missing item. Without an itemized list, I can't be sure the item actually made it to me for cleaning. I have also found MORE items in clients bags than they thought they sent in. While lists are helpful, please keep in mind that they can still have errors!

Current estimated turnaround time is 10-14 days for wash orders.

You will be given a printed invoice at the time of drop off with the total as well as the READY BY date printed on the invoice. We do not call when orders are completed, please refer to your invoice. Orders left over 30 days of the Ready By date will accrue a $5/week storage fee. Orders left over 6 months will be considered "abandoned" and may be donated. Please let the counter staff know of any waterproofing needed at the time of drop off. We do not perform any extra services without a request from the client. Any item needing waterproofing must be cleaned prior to the service.

Our Wash Process

Our blanket wash service includes a commercial machine wash on a Cold water cycle, which is best for fabric longevity. Our washer is a large capacity 60 pound front load machine that is non-agitating and goes thru two wash cycles and three rinse cycles for the ultimate in cleaning. We use Blanket Safe professional equine laundry products, made in the USA, for the highest quality care of your horse rugs. Blanket Safe equine washes are detergent free, soap free, residue free as well as antibacterial and deodorizing. Our blanket washes are SAFE for waterproof items and DO NOT weaken or damage the waterproofing or fabrics. The wash cycle is followed by a full air drying, always! You can rest assured that we never put any horse items into a dryer. All client's blanket orders are processed individually and are never washed with any other order.

Our off season turnaround time is between 1-2 weeks, and in our busiest season, 2-3 weeks. All blankets are processed in the order they are received.
